Microsoft UK recently launched a self-service portal for companies who want to manage and keep track of their software licenses. The Microsoft Software Assessment Self-Service Tool (SASS) is mainly targeted to small and medium-sized businesses that often have little or no IT support in-house.
As part of the service process, Microsoft SASS users submit a full inventory report of their PC environment, typically 20-200 PCs. To make this reporting as smooth as possible, Microsoft evaluated several tools and Helsinki, Finland based Applixure received the highest rating – full five stars.
In-depth PC analysis and one-button reporting
A single PC contains a staggering amount of data, such as software license information. After installing Applixure’s agent software, Applixure automatically collects all relevant data and pushes it to Applixure’s cloud service.
Creating a PC inventory report for Microsoft SASS is as easy as clicking one button.
Beyond inventory reporting, Applixure’s visual graphs and summarized service scores allow taking a quick look at the health of the PC environment.
Long-term benefits of using Applixure include improved employee productivity, significant savings in IT costs and improved IT security, for example.
